Century Landing Net
Assembly Instructions
Century has designed the latest generation of landing nets to increase tension across the cord. This enables the net to retain its shape better when placed under a fish whilst landing.
2. Whilst holding the arms securely begin to apply gradual pressure to deflect the lower arm. The lower arm will then allow the upper arm to align with the hole in the spreader block and again having ensured that this is clean – slip the upper arm into the block. Release the pressure from the lower arm gradually and the net will lock up and take its shape. Please ensure your hands are dry whilst assembling the net.
3. Below is a close up picture showing the correct configuration of the stainless cap just prior to placing gradual pressure on the lower arm. By placing pressure and deflection on the lower arm the male joint should easily slip into the female part of the spreader block.

Disassembly is the reverse process and pressure should be applied to the lower arm through the spreader block. The tip of the arm is placed against the ground and when sufficiently deflected the upper arm can be detached from the block.
